Why We Chose Corian® - to Create Modern Judaica

Ever since the days we were industrial design students at HIT - we've heard about a super materiel - named Corian®.Corian® is an original synthetic material developed by DuPont ™ considered as "artificial marble" We chose Corian for our latest modern Judaica items - because of its great qualities:Elegant and attractive to touch - it is smooth and easy to clean with water and a bit of dish soap. In industry - Corian is used for kitchens, bathrooms, and even laboratories working surfaces - obviously it is durable for many years. When we design Judaica objects - we think about how to make them a heirloom - an item of desire for many years to come - naturally this material's features...

A day out in Tel Aviv - Saying Hello :)

The truth is that we are very shy.  We love to talk about our work, take pictures of our work, but almost never talk about ourselves, or take pictures of ourselves. That day - was exceptional, a day out at the heart of the city of Tel Aviv, we walked around fancy Rothschild blvd., Famous Allenby street, and invited Meital Cohen and her camera with us. Although temperature climbed high to almost 30 Celsius degrees - the streets of Tel Aviv early in June - are still breezy. Minimalist, clean, with fresh natural Israeli harvest - this is how we love our holiday table.

Photo: Hagar Dooplet Looking for a creative idea for a summer holiday table - we could not miss the beauty of simple nature this time of the year - many fresh fruits and vegetables in the market, and all trees and gardens around us are blooming. With the holiday of Shavu'ot in mind - fresh olive branches with tiny new fruits - are such a lovely addition to the table decoration. White flower, crispy Challa, and wheat oat - complete an atmosphere that reminds us of the Mitzvah of 'Bikurim' - celebrating the fresh harvest and hoping for a blessed and fruitful year. with a strong belief that beauty and inspiration are in the small natural things - we enjoyed...

Artistic Day Tour at Old Jaffa - Judaica Designers' Favourites

A sunny day, at Hol HaMoed Sukkot, was a lovely timing for 'Judaica Workers' next meeting. We met at Marit Meisler Judaica studio - 'ceMMent', located at a typical picturesque old Jaffa alley. Breaking routine in a colleague's inspiring studio - is so mind opening, always have a lot to talk about, jumping from one issue to another - from sharing our experiences with the contemporary Judaica market, to thoughts about financial issues. Located at a very artistic quarter of the old Jaffa, we were soon out of the studio for a walk. Although all of us wandered old Jaffa so many times before, with Marit and Laura we had the chance to discover new things.First and foremost - we visited the studio and Gallery of Frank Meisler, Marit's father...
