The aesthetics of Japanese arts and crafts, and its geometric clean lines- always interests us. In this new Passover collection we challenged ourselves to combine the fascinated Shibori technique in our modern Judaica collection. we turned our studio to a Shibori workshop and created dozens of textile samples.
The indigo blue reminded us of the sea. The Exodus and the miracle of parting the Red Sea are important symbols of Passover, and we focused on patterns that reminded us of the sea and its waves.
More and more sea like shapes, and aqua are seen as much as you explore this unique textile item.
Hand dyed by us at the studio - each item is unique and exclusive - Each Passover set is a ON OF A KIND modern Judaica piece.
The Afikomen bag designed as a case with the Hebrew word "אפיקומן" embroidered over it in Navy blue, it holds the Afikomen after you break the mid Matzah into two parts.
The Matzah cover is made of two layers of fine linen, each side has a different Shibori pattern. with the Hebrew word "מצה" embroidered over it in Navy blue.
** Please Note: the Matzah piece is a cover, not a bag
