Vashti and Esther flag illustrates a feminist reading of Megillat Esther - a story of complexity and contrasts - good and bad, active and passive, women and men, Rebellion and obedience, Disaster and redemption.
Wave the flag whenever the names of Esther and Vashti are mentioned.
The flag pattern is an illustration of two human profiles facing each other, inspired by the enigmatic sequence of events, and changing balance of power between men and women, Jews and gentiles, in the Megillah.

Each kits,Packed in a separate bags contains: Five A4 pages and two cardboard pieces:
• 1 page of instructions.
• 2 pages of flag coloring template - ready to color and then assemble.
• 2 pages of colorful flag layouts - ready to assemble.
• 2 cardboard pieces 8.5''X1'' (21X3 cm) for a handle - ready to assemble.
Each kit includes two activity options:
- Coloring pages (outlines only) - color your own flag, think about how the colors reflects the complexity of Megillat Esther. Enjoy a great meditative time of coloring. When coloring is completed - follow the instructions to assemble your flag. This activity might take 1 hour or more.
- Colorful pages - follow the instructions to assemble your flag. for a much quicker activity. 15-30 minutes - depends on age an skills.
Additional staff you'll need:
• Crayons, markers, etc.
• Glue.
• Scissors.
